Why should I buy the fondues from Tom Tasty?
There are many reasons why you should choose our fondues: We use the highest quality cheese, take great care in preparation and offer a wide variety. Our value for money is excellent and appreciated by thousands of customers. Many claim that it is the best on the Swiss market. We say there is no such thing as “the best”, as this is subjective. But we stand behind our products with passion and promise to get the best out of our first-class cheeses.
What is the shelf life of the fondues?
Our fondues must be stored in the refrigerator at approx. 5°. Depending on the variety, they can be kept for between 2 weeks and 3 months. You will find the exact best-before date on each pack.
Do your fondues contain baking soda?
No, we do not add baking soda. Our customers tell us that our fondues are very well tolerated and are not heavy on the stomach. This is due to the high quality of the cheese used.
Can the fondues also be frozen?
Yes, you can. You should freeze them before the expiration date. They will then keep for up to 9 months. It is important that they defrost completely in the fridge and are not prepared half-frozen.
Are the fondues gluten-free?
Yes, we use cornflour or potato starch as a binding agent.
What else do I need to add to the fondues?
You don't actually have to add anything. If you like garlic in your fondue, you can add it yourself. We don't use it for various reasons. If you like pepper, nothing stands in the way. Otherwise, everything is in the mix: cheese, wine, schnapps and cornflour. As we use very good cheeses, we don't add any other spices. Taste it first and then decide whether you want to add any seasoning, because the taste of the cheese should be enough.
